Golf is a wonderful sport because it offers so many opportunities to all age groups. Golf can be that casual Sunday morning round with your buddies, it can have an element of challenge when you and your partners "up the ante", or, better yet--it can be full of competition beyond your foursome!

Royal St. Cloud Golf Links holds exciting tournaments throughout the year. Our most popular annual tournaments include:

• Our very own “Royal Open” to be held in September this year is always a huge success! 
• Farley Cup (Ryder Cup type event named in memory of the late Steve Farley, our beloved friend and former employee). The formats of match play are best ball, alternate shot, scramble and individual.
• The Corrine (our ladies-only tournament name in loving memory of Bill's mother, an avid golfer herself). The 2008 Corrine took place on December 18 and was fun.
• Our Popular Glow Ball Tournament
• The British Junior
• and many others

Want to Hold Your Own Tournament?

You don’t have to be the PGA or a big corporation to hold a tournament. You can have your next tournament at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Our golf course is ideal for groups of 12 to 150 players. We’ve hosted tournaments as small and intimate as a family reunion and as large as the British Junior.

We are really a great choice for tournaments with our newly designed driving range and practice facilities, fabulous fairways and perfect greens, Plus, our great staff can help you plan everything from food to prizes. Our Golf Shop offers so many ideas for prizes and we can even help custom order special merchandise, if desired.

Leagues Are One of the Best Ways to Form Friendships

Our golf pro, Bill Filson, stays dedicated to forming and supporting leagues at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links because his very own mother was a diehard Ladies League participant for so many years of her life. In fact, to honor her memory, he began a new annual tradition of hosting a Ladies Tournament called “The Corrine.” The trophy for this event was made from an actual trophy Corrine Filson proudly won in a Ladies League Tournament once upon a time.

Various leagues are available at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links at different times during the year. To name a few, we have a Ladies League that tees off every Thursday morning all year long and we have a successful Couples League that enjoys Friday afternoon 9-hole rounds followed up with social time and a spread of hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks in the Stone Bridge Tavern & Grill. Leagues really are a great way to get out and play and make new friends while you’re at it.
